Gilgit-Baltistan needs an autonomous set up

The way the committee worked for the reforms of FATA is commendable but the very same committee become blind working for Gilgit-Baltistan. I heard Chairman of constitutional reform committee Mr. Sartaj Aziz in a private TV Talkshow and came to know how effectively and carefully they worked for FATA. They visited each and every agency just to know the feelings and needs of the youth of FATA and their notable. They met political leaders of the area. Also, they consulted with Journalists of the deprived region. The committee wanted to do whatever the people of FATA want. They pondered every option to choose the best. Finally, they came to the conclusion of merger. But when comes to GB Reform they didn't bother paying a single visit to GB to know what people of GB want? What are the Youth of Gilgit-Baltistan demanding? They worked for 2.5 years just consulting with CM GB and PM of AJK. Isn't shameful? Why they didn't come to GB to know the ground realities. This governance order was not what we need at first place. People of GB has been governing for the last 70 years without constitutional rights. They are the people who wanted to become Pakistani by choice after snatching freedom from Dogra rulers and annexed with Pakistan. The brave people of GB since 7 decades running the movement of integration with Pakistan but each time they are fooled by lollipops in the form of governance orders. The federal cabinet imposed the controversial reform order 2018 without taking people and GB legislative assembly members into confidence. What's going on today is that the whole GB is taking to streets against the new order and demanding the federal government to denotify this order without any delay. Their demand for full autonomous set up is legitimate and should immediately be met.

گلگت بلتستان ، آزاد کشمیر طرز کا سیٹ اپ چاہتا ہے یا پانچواں صوبہ

آج اگر اس سوال پر کوئی ریفرنڈم کروائے تو 95 فیصد سے زیادہ لوگوں کا فیصلہ صوبے کے حق میں ہو گا کیونکہ یہاں کے لوگوں میں فطرتی طور پر پاکستان سے محبت پائی جاتی ہے جبھی تو آزادی کے بعد بلا کسی شرط وشروط کے خود کو پاکستان کے حوالے کر دیا _

اب تھوڑا طبقہ بلکہ بہت ہی کم تعداد ان لوگوں کی بھی ہے جو آزاد کشمیر طرز کے سیٹ اپ کا مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں _ان لوگوں کے دو نظریات ہو سکتے ہیں
1.چونکہ پاکستان اور کشمیر کا یہ موقف رہا ہے کہ جی بی کو پانچویں صوبہ بنانے سے کشمیر پر پاکستان کا موقف کمزور پڑ جائے گا اس لیے صوبہ کی جگہ کشمیر طرز کا سیٹ اپ دیا جائے

2.یا یہ لوگ چاہتے ہیں کہ جی بی ایسے ہی متنازعہ بنے رہے اور کبھی پاکستان کا حصہ نہ بنے یعنی ان کی سوچ اینٹی پاکستان ہے جو یہ کھل کر ظاہر نہیں کر رہے..

کافی سارے تحقیق سے یہ بات سامنے آئی ہے کہ گلگت بلتستان کو صوبہ بنانے سے کشمیر پر کوئی منفی اثر مرتب نہیں ہو گا اور یہ بات آج تک لوگوں کو خاموش کرانے کے لیے کی جاتی رہی_ہاں لیکن عالمی سطح پر پاکستان پر پریشر بہت ہو گا جن میں سرفہرست بھارت اور امریکہ کا ہو گا اور اسی ڈر کی وجہ سے سے پاکستان کی حکومت آج تک کوئی فیصلہ نہیں کر ئی_

جو لوگ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ 70 سال سے ہم صوبے کا مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں اور کچھ نہیں ہو رہا تو ان سے گزارش ہے کہ مجھے عوامی سطح پر ایک بڑی کوشش، دھرنا یا احتجاج دکھا دیں جو پورے جی بی کی عوام نے ایک ساتھ کیا ھو_جی ہاں یہ ہمارا مطالبہ ضرور رہا ہے لیکن کوئی ٹھوس قدم آج تک نہیں اٹھای اور اب جب لوگ تیار ہیں تو کشمیر سیٹ اپ کے نام پے ان کو گمراہ کیا جا رہا ہے

اب کشمیر سیٹ اپ کی بات کرتے ہیں
آزاد کشمیر میں جو برائے نام حکومت بنی ہوئی ہے اس کی حیثیت ایک سیکڑی کے برابر بھی نہیں _چلو مان لیتے ہیں ہمیں اس طرح کے سیٹ اپ کے بعد اختیارات بھی مل جاتے ہیں مگر ہم پھر بھی بے آئین ہی کہلوائیں گے_دنیا کی نظر میں ہم متنازعہ علاقہ ہی کہلوائیں گے اور پھر ستر سال بعد ہم خود اس سیٹ اپ کے خلاف وہی باتیں کر رہے ہوں گے اور دوسرا مطالبہ لیے کھڑا ہو گا_
کشمیر طرز کے سیٹ اپ کا مطالبہ کر کے چند لوگوں نے گلگت بلتستان کو کشمیر سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کی ہے اور یہ بات گلگت بلتستان کی عوام کو قابل قبول نہیں _یہاں کے لوگ مکمل پاکستانی بن کے جینے کے حق میں ہیں اور پانچواں صوبہ انکا پہلا اور آخری مطالبہ ہے

Chunda - One of the most amazing and attractive touristic places of Gilgit-Baltistan but still undiscovered by most of the people due to lack of development works that keep it backward & hidden from people. The very necessary and vital thing that plays the pivotal role in enhancing tourism is the construction of roads. You'll be shocked knowing that this beautiful place which is also known for its historic importance, lacks this facility which is a sheer injustice to the people of this beautiful valley and tourism. The inhabitants of Chunda Valley is continuously demanding to the concerned authority for immediate attention towards their rightful demand for road construction and expansion. This also adds to the difficulties of students who want to continue their education after passing their middle classes as there is no approved high school for the 6000 people of Chunda Valley in this technological era of 21st century. So if there is no education awareness can't be expected and that is what we are witnessing among most of the folks. And for girls, there are no symptoms of education from the outset. Nature has bestowed Chunda with immense beauty and natural resources which needs to be used properly for the development and empowerment of the people. The very interesting thing here is that; Chunda valley is just 5km away from CMH Gamba Skardu Baltistan but still lacks all basic facilities.People representatives; be it Shaikh Nisar sb of PPP or currently Kacho Imtiaz Haider Khan sb; all are aware of people and students sufferings but up till now no commendable steps have been taken from either of them. It is noteworthy however here that some training centers have been opened by the later. I humbly request all political figures, member assembly of Halqa 2, CM GB Hafiz ur Rehman and Chief Secretary and other concerned high ups to take notice and step forward to heal sufferings of the people, students and to boost tourism in the region. And I also expect you to Please spread this for the cause of education and tourism.

G-B to have NUST campus soon: CM Hafiz-ur-Rehman

Gilgit: NUST campus to be opened in GB soon says CM Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz ur Rehman. GB government to provide 10-acre land for this purpose while all funding will be done by the federal government, he added. While addressing the assembly he says that the GB government is committed to its vision of development and prosperity for the youth and the people of the region in all the fields especially.in the education sector. CM says the chief of the army staff (COAS) will give approval for the NUST GB campus soon. While talking about the University of Baltistan he confirmed that three names have been shortlisted for the post of University Chancellor by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and PM would take the final decision. Chief Minister also talked about the expected visit of PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to Skardu & Gilgit on 9th March.
