Life in Skardu has become very difficult these days. Number of villages have completely disconnected from Skardu city due to road blockages in Baltistan region.A suspension bridge has also been fallen down in Skardu city of Gilgit-Baltistan after heavy snow-fall for three days of last week.The bridge could not bear I foot snow. It just shows the competence level of engineers & workers who have been given these important tasks. It would has been fallen down at any time if it was not because of snow. Interestingly the bridge was located in the constituency of current speaker of G-B legislative assembly Fida Muhammad Nashad.It shows that government lacks will, interest, competence & confidence to fix these problems. CM G-B Hafeez ur Rehman & Speaker Fida Nashad must take immediate steps to investigate the matter & hold accountable those found guilty.
