There are total 85 reserved seats for Gilgit Baltistan. 80 of which is reserved for MBBS and 5 of them is for BDS.
All the BDS seats are filled on purely open merit bases, but the MBBS seats have been divided into two categories, ie Open and District Wise merit. It mean that some of the MBBS seats have been allocated to particular districts of Gilgit Baltistan. Students having domicile of that particular district is only eligible for that seat.
